Kunihiko Monbu joined Dentsu in 2004. After working in the Sales Department, where he handled marketing strategies and media planning, he moved to the Magazine Department. There, he served as the Product Manager for Dentsu's first BtoC app, "Digital Magazine Store Magastore," overseeing its strategy and development.
Subsequently, in the Platform Business Department, he was responsible for driving digital transformation (DX) and developing SaaS services for client and media companies. In 2017, he was seconded to Dentsu Holding USA, where he supported the DX efforts of local client companies. Particularly, he was involved in the overall direction of building digital marketing platforms and new business development through collaborations with companies like Merkle and Gigster.
Upon his return in July 2019, with the support of Dentsu's investment and a business partnership with Gigster, he established GNUS Inc.
